The books subplot with Peter on a date at Starbucks had me smiling from ear to ear as I enjoyed my Spider-Man series in years. If you do not care for the “Tony Stark” type of character he was become in the main book, Spectacular Spider-Man skips over that and gives us the character we know, love and most importantly want. Writer Chip Zdarsky is a goddamn national treasure at this point, is there anything that he cannot write?
